A much older gentleman wearing the most endearing blue and white striped trousers approached us while we were walking around in complete awe of this place. He was the groundskeeper and had been for quite some time. He showed us the most notable graves to see and stories about the cemetery but the one that stuck was the one about him. His family was in a #cemetery
close by to #Bonaventure
but he wanted to be in both. So he got himself a lot, and when he dies, he's having his heart removed and being buried here, and his body buried with his family in the neighboring cemetery. His #gravestone
here will read, "I left my heart in Bonaventure." I can see why he would... I think I did as well.
