This throwback photo is far from clear, main motive is to pass a message.
once upon a time I used to be so skinny and always sorted ways to add up a Lil flesh cos i was tired of being regarded by such names as skinny, small, bony, dry(just name it). I've never been a big eater, so i would force down food along side large cups of water just so i could take more than my stomach naturally would accept.
Maltina& ugu, milk, egg and yogurt became my best buddies. Sometimes I would go out of my small way to buy junk food with the little cash i had.
Fast forward to 2011 the famous skinny Annie skyrocketed from a Uk6- a 10!
In a space of 3 months my cloths couldn't fit, to say I was ecstatic would be an understatement. All the curves began to shine bright, even my backside was moving to the '17,18,19' rhythm. boy!was i feeling myself!
Fast forward again,my excitement was cut short. Same people who called me skinny and dry began to give me the sardonic look, and annoying comments came rolling in 'oh you used to be so pretty', 'this is not the Annie we know o', 'fat doesn't fit you at all'. Depression crawled in, i began to conciously starve myself and soon had a reoccurring prayer point ,'Lord please make me skinny again'! I would wail.
Well, my prayer and starvation technic worked(please note that starving yourself of food and thereby basic nutrients is bad for your health). To cut the long story short, Annie got her body back but enemies of progress came by 'you are loosing too much weight o, you look sick' 'the weight looked good on you o' 'kai your butt is gone'! and my response, #please
shove your opinion off your a**! Yea thats right 'shove it off your a**! in @charles_okocha
Right now, i love myself to bits, currently focused on eating right and staying well.
Lesson learnt: please love yourself! Being fat, skinny, short, tall, light skinned or dark skinned wouldn't make anyone love you better.
Self love exhumes confidence that automatically attracts positive vibes and 'good love'. Most importantly, eat healthy, be happy, sit down and be humble😆
