📷 at my favorite bookstore. Grabbed another two precious books, both on Malaysia's critical issues, written by Bruno Manser and Dr Hezri Adnan. 📚
Reading books is very important, some of the reasons is that -- it is a fundamental to functioning in today's society. Reading books also develop and exercise the mind -- well, it basically is a great learning tool to discover and educate ourselves about stuffs that we took interest in.
Based on 2015 statistic, adult literacy rate in Republic of Korea, Norway is 100%, while Malaysia is 94.6%, which put us at 65th place in the world. Not a bad number right? If we could at least provide free educations to the childrens up to Secondary Schools and at the same time improve education infrastructures -- I think no way 100% literacy rate can be called a mere pipe dream. The 5.4% of the illiterate adults will be so damn thankful. .
